This just in from the Daily Mail:

You may already know this, but psychic powers might really exist.

Research suggests that far from being a trick of employed by fairground fortune tellers, many of us are blessed with ability to see in the future.

Influencing events before they happen is also within our remit, the study by a respected psychologist found.

The publication of the results in a leading social science journal will make waves in the staid world of science, where terms like clairvoyance, telepathy and ESP are dirty words.

They will also spark a million conversations about the significance of everyday occurrences, such as knowing who is at the end of the phone before picking it up.

Daryl Bem, a physicist and part-time magician turned psychologist, set out to investigate psi, or parapsychology to you and me.

In one experiment, students were shown a list of words to memorise before being asked to recall words form it. They were then given some of the words to type.

Spookily, they were better at remembering the words they would later be asked to type, this week’s New Scientist reports.

STARpod.org, the public website presence for STARstream Research, has posted a 72-page Defense Intelligence Agency SECRET briefing on-line.

(The DIA STAR GATE briefing document)reports that paranormal “psychic vision,” referred to as “remote viewing” by the Department of Defense, is, to quote from the document, “a real phenomenon.”

According to the DIA SECRET document, which was declassified by the CIA a few years ago, investigations of paranormal phenomena led researchers to conclude that “an unusual mechanism may have been observed” with “significant application implications.” In addition, the detection of a mechanism behind psychic vision was thought to “shed light on some foreign activities,” suggesting that the Intelligence Community was monitoring progress being made in paranormal research elsewhere in the world.

Other STAR GATE documents prove that paranormal activities had been conducted across a vast swath of the government, including CIA, DIA, the US Navy, the US Air Force, the US Army, and at least one agency that was redacted from the document.

Recently, confidential sources have come forward suggesting the redacted agency may have been the National Security Agency (NSA). According to the sources, following the attacks of 9/11, American intelligence sought the use of psychics to locate Saddam’s hideout in Iraq and to locate hidden nuclear locations in Iran.

THE tortured family of a mum who has been missing for 50 years want police to dig up an old cellar – after being guided there by a psychic.

The family of Bridget Robertson – known as Breda – were led to a tenement in Easter Road, Edinburgh, by self-styled psychic detective Jacqui O’Reilly.

Breda’s son Adrian, 54, said: “What Jacqui has told me is absolutely electrifying.

“She’s correct in all the things she’s said, right down to the description of one of the men my stepmother brought into our house.

“Jacqui has confirmed so much, I now have to accept mum was murdered.”

O’Reilly, from Preston, Lancashire, said: “I’m convinced Adrian’s mother never left the house in Easter Road in October 1960.

“She was murdered so that evil people could get at her children – of that I’m certain.

“Breda was just 24-years-old and, despite having had a terrible life, she would never have left her children.

“There’s a cellar or crawl space which the police should investigate under the building.

“I feel her body is under a large area of concrete disguised to look like a floor.’ She added: “I do not believe the man involved is alive today.”

Many people believe in the existence of ESP – extra-sensory perception – or psychic ability. But have you ever considered that YOU might have one or more of these talents? In fact, some believe that all human beings are psychic (although, as with music, art and sports, some may be more gifted than others). It has been suggested that all psychic abilities are examples of tapping into our shared or collective human consciousness, and recent discoveries in quantum physics may one day explain it.

Meanwhile, do you have psychic talent? Sometimes it’s just a matter of definition. You might be doing something routinely that you never thought of as ESP-related before. Looking at the following list of psychic abilities, common and uncommon, you might be surprised to find something that resonates with your own experience.

Déjà vu – been there, done that, doing it again!

Baseball legend Yogi Berra said it best: “This is like déjà vu all over again.” Déjà vu (French for already seen) is the feeling that you’ve experienced something before and is the most common of the ESP repertoire. In fact, most people don’t even think of it as a psychic ability. Over 60 percent of those quizzed in reputable polls not only believe in the phenomenon but feel they have experienced it.
