NASA scientists last night unveiled compelling evidence of life on Mars.
A special mission to the Red Planet has revealed the likely presence of a form of pond scum – the building blocks of life as we know it.
NASA unveiled the results of the recent Opportunity and Spirit probes sent millions of miles through the solar system to discover signs of extraterrestrial life.
The results are so promising boffins have already planned a host of other missions to discover whether there is extraterrestrial life in the universe.
The recent missions have gathered evidence of sulphates on Mars, a strong indication there is water on the planet and therefore life.
Previous missions to Mars have concluded there is probably water on the planet.
But the NASA boffins said the recent missions have gone further than any others in proving there is life on Mars.

Is high strangeness lurking in the shadows behind recent world events? Or is there something more at play?
As Laura Magdalene Eisenhower continues on a mini-whirlwind tour of Internet alternative radio interviews, the controversy behind the melding (and social network marketing) of real technology, politics, new age religions, and other bastard child-gods of 21st Century cult worship may be nearing a boiling point.
Laura Magdalene Eisenhower is the great-granddaughter of US President Dwight D. Eisenhower.

Meanwhile, Russia President Medvedev and US President Obama have signed a landmark (and controversial) nuclear arms reduction treaty.
What makes all of the above interesting from our point of view are the social and viral connections bringing Ms. Eisenhower a couple of degrees of separation from Russian President Medvedev, and, we presume by extension, President Obama.
Another descendant of Ike, Susan Eisenhower, became a key consultant on nuclear issues and energy for the Obama administration, after she bolted from the Republican party to support Obama during the election campaign in 2008. She has, in this capacity, met with Russian President Medvedev, and provided insight to Steven Chu, President Obama’s Energy Secretary.
For those of you unfamiliar with recent psy-operations (or should that be psi-operations?) involving Ms. Laura Magdalene Eisenhower, a couple of months ago she hit the Internet running when she revealed she had been the target of an attempted recruitment into a secret black-ops space mission intended to establish a permanent colony on Mars, a story drenched in the viral new age fears now focused on 2012.

“UFO enthusiasts have discovered a “monolith” on Mars, but the planetary scientists behind the images say balderdash.
Taken in 2008, the image from NASA’s Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter mission depicts boulders strewn across a canyon near Mars’ colossal Valles Marineris. “The structure closely resembles the black monolith that appears during key moments of man’s evolution in the film 2001: A Space Odyssey,” suggested a report in the United Kingdom’s Daily Mail on Monday.
Alas for science fiction fans. “The image they have is actually oriented incorrectly and when viewed with North up, one can see it’s a boulder reflecting sunlight,” says Ari Espinoza of the University of Arizona’s HiRISE team, which runs the spacecraft’s cameras and posted the image. “We certainly appreciate people coming to our site and looking at our beautiful images, but more often than not, there’s nothing to comment on.”
