What was the mysterious cylinder spotted in the skies above a busy caravan park in Somerset, England?
Luckily a holidaymaker had a video camera handy and managed to film the strange object.
Some people have said that it was nothing more than a ‘high altitude observation balloon payload’. Others thinkit may be a kite. However, UFO ‘expert’ Malcolm Robinson insisted the object was ‘totally consistent’ with other sightings.

Robinson told reporters:
‘While UFOs are commonly thought to be spherical in shape, we receive dozens of calls from people who have spotted similar cylinder-shaped objects.
‘There is, of course, an argument that this could be a weather balloon or some other common object.
‘But my research has shown that it is totally consistent with other UFO sightings, none of which have been hoaxes or naturally-occurring phenomena.’

You have all heard about the famous crop circles which have been popping up all over the world for years, but have you heard of ice circles?
Around the world, reports have been coming in about strange ice circles forming on frozen lakes, creeks and rivers. But what exactly are they?

According to some, an ice circle is a natural occurance which occurs only in the coldest of places. They form when ice forms inthe middle of a body of water. Currents spin the ice slowly which then shapes it into a circle. Once the rest of the river freezes, the ice circle is visible.
Reports of ice circles have been around for centuries, from the Arctic, Scandanavia, Russia, Canada and more recently in England.
Roy Jeffries went out one chilly Devon day to take his dog for a walk. He decided to walk along the frozen River Otter when he came across this strange phenomenon. He took photos of the circle which measued about 10 feet.
However, a spokesman for the Meteorological Office admitted to reporters that ‘we’re kind of a bit stumped to be honest’.

The residents of Woolaston in Stourbridge, England, live in fear that their beloved cat may disappear one day. Over the past several years, more than 50 cats have mysteriously vanished from the streets of the West Midlands town. The mystery is centred on Meriden Avenue and its surrounding roads.
No bodies have ever been discovered on the sides of the road, which pretty much rules out that they have been run over by cars. Strangely, the collars of several of the missing cats have been found, but this has just served to deepen the mystery.
The RSPCA has been investigating the reports of the feline vanishings and have taken the reports very seriously. So much so that they have now stopped rehousing any cats in the surrounding area.
They have conducted door-to-door interviews, but are no closer to solving the mystery.
“In this case there have been reports of missing cats with no information about how they have gone missing, with no bodies of cats as evidence therefore it is difficult to investigate further without any evidence,” they told reporters.
They added that she could not confirm an exact number given by the residents claims as the investigation has been going for only two years.
