I fully agree with and support this challenge:
Dear Mr Camping at al
I have read your article entitled ‘Judgment Day! May 21, 2011′ and ‘The End of the World October 21, 2011‘ on your website and spoken to a number of people affiliated with your church.
I believe your prophesy to be false and contrary to the Word of God. After all it says clearly in Acts 1:7:
“And He said to them, “It is not for you to know times or seasons which the Father has put in His own authority.”
However I am prepared to meet your challenge. I will repent of my sins and ask forgiveness of the Lord. If you are correct, I will join you in good standing before God after May 21.
Now I have a challenge for both you and your followers.
I would like to challenge your belief in your prophesy.
If you truly believe 100% that Judgement Day is going to take place in less than 17 days, then sign a legal document saying that I, James Smith, will inherit all of your properties, monies, and any other material possessions (exempt from any liabilities).
I offer the same challenge to any other person who believes 100% that the events prophesied will indeed take place.
If I am still here on May 22, I will set up a foundation to begin making donations of the proceeds to such organizations as ‘Cancer Research’, ‘Children in Need’ and any other worthy charity of my choosing.
If you truly believe in your claims, then you have nothing to lose as you will have no need of material goods after 21 May.
I eagerly await your reply and signed contracts. You may contact me through my site’s contact page.
Wikileaks has become something of a force in recent times with it’s releases of sensitive information. The new releases of today and the coming revelations in the coming weeks have stirred up a hornet’s nest amongst governments around the world, but in particular the US government.
Unexplainable.net has written to good articles on the Wikileaks phenomenon:
An incredibly uncertain day today as several aspects of US foreign policy are laid bare for public consumption worldwide now that internet site Wikileaks makes public several documents seven times the size of its previous mass release, The War Diaries. And now as millions of pages are being scoured by conspiracy theorists and journalists, there have been even in these first few hours dozens of “Oh no” moments confirming a few of their fears and conspiracy theories. And that’s just the beginning…
Nothing in the realm of global detention camps or impending worldwide nuclear apocalypse has been brought to the public’s attention just yet, but to see the documents and the wording of several of these reports suggests that the next few international meetings could be fairly awkward at the very least, and openly hostile at the most. It’s still too early to tell the extent of how other nations will react to these leaks, though there is a general air of apprehension about it. This breach of security is one of the most catastrophic the United States has seen since the Abu Graibe incident and could turn out to be even more damaging in the long run.
The recent massive release of information has changed quite a bit about what we know about the world that we wouldn’t have otherwise known for a fact before. Barring all of our unconfirmed suspicions for a moment, let’s take a look at the world after Wikileaks, or what we all know now. It’s important to understand these things for several reasons. Foremost, perhaps, is the way this leak will affect global diplomatic relations and how this will all change the world in the coming weeks and years.
First, we will see relations between Saudi Arabia and Iran running the risk of deteriorating even more as the cat is out of the bag about Saudi Arabia urging the US on several occasions to destabilize the country before it acquired nuclear weapons. The public now inadvertently has insider confirmation that Iran may already have nuclear weapons, and Ahmadenijad has been on a long time crusade to grab as many weapons as possible. Leaked documents have compared Iran’s leader as being “like Hitler.” And on top of it all Saudi Arabia’s private donors are apparently funding groups like Al Qaeda. This may not seem like news, but this is in direct conflict with our current alliance with Saudi Government.
Many people are asking whether these releases are proof of a US conspiracy to destabilize governments around the world, or are they just personal reflections of the people that embassy staff have to deal with on a daily basis.
Skeptics have also jumped onto these releases by pointing out the lack of UFO’s / Aliens in the Wikileaks releases. Why is this subject noticeable by it’s absence?
One thing is certain; the world will never be the same thanks to Wikileaks. It has ignited the debate on the public’s right to know. It has given the public an insight into the inner workings of governments and it has highlighted that no country is innocent.
