‘Gawd Bless America’ is a upcoming documentary that shows the fraudulent side of the paranormal.

In 2008, the thirtysomething Freeman and the then-sixtysomething Tessina went off on a cross-country adventure to interview so-called experts on alien abductions, ghost hunting, crop circles, psychic healing and more, all in an effort to expose the truth behind their wild, other-worldly claims.

The result is “Gawd Bless America,” a documentary opening in theaters March 4, that blends “Borat”-like antics with “Religulous”-like irreverence to reach, Freeman said, something “real.”

Another “astronaut” recently came out and declared that UFO’s and aliens exist. Clark C. McClelland former ScO, Space Shuttle Fleet Kennedy Space Center, Florida (1958-1992) recently wrote:

“Space Shuttle Columbia during STS-80 took a crew of five astronauts into a 17 day, 15 hour and 54 minute mission around the earth, the longest flight in the history of this vehicle.

During this lengthy flight a very strange event occurred that even had crewman Dr. Story Musgrave unable to explain what he observed from the shuttle windows. A large disc shaped object appeared below the Columbia.

I don’t know what it is. Whether it’s a washer, debris, ice particles, I don’t know. But it’s characteristic of the thousands of things which I’ve seen.

What is not so characteristic is it appears to come from no where. You would think that if it’s facing the dark side or facing a side towards you which is not reflecting the sun, you would think that you would see something there.

It’s really impressive.”

It must be said that Dr Musgrave has also come out in support of aliens since retiring from NASA.

“It’s no great leap for one to assume he’s admitting knowledge of alien life.”

In a recent presentation, his final slide showed a grey alien. His comment on this slide was:

“These guys are real I guarantee it!”

These revelations come at a time when many high ranking military personnel have gone public on UFO’s and aliens. They also follow claims by other astronauts that they too have seen ‘something odd’ while on NASA missions.

However there is a lot of controversy over not only the claims of Clark C. McClelland, but also of who exactly he is. Amongst the accusations are:

There are no mentions of him on NASA’s website and no mention of things he’s done at NASA.

He has never been on a shuttle mission. He was in the shuttle prep/testing division and therefore never went to space.

If you google his name, he is only found on UFO and conspiracy websites. He never appears on any mainstream site, in particular on any scientific websites.

On his Stargate Chronicles website, Clark C. McClelland made the following statement:

History is created, manipulated, and written by those who are predominantly on the victorious side of the nation which has supreme political — and especially military — dominance. Any “truth” which has the slightest potential of weakening their total hold over the masses is not tolerated. Any truth which can impact their power is squelched or cunningly hidden by them — usually in a manufactured media release to the unsuspecting public, often in a jovial manner to render the information a laughing matter and display it as harmless.

Visits to earth by UFOs and their crews have been reported since ancient times and all throughout history. The frequency of sightings has increased over the last five decades. All have been portrayed officially by the cunning revisionists of history as a joke. After all, who will believe something as fact if placed in the category of humor?

The US government will, if necessary, implement whatever it takes to keep the public from learning the truth about these important cosmic events. Perhaps there is a legitimate military reason for total secrecy, particularly if the Pentagon has no means of combating these forces, perhaps a reason so ominous that they surmise the human race cannot handle the truth.

To counter public interest and demands for the release of UFO information, the military and federal government create and employ buzzwords like “National Security” to protect against forced public disclosure. Have you ever asked yourself why? When both claim UFOs do not exist? How long will it be before the human race awakens from its comatose state? Alien races have been here for a very long time. It is very possible our entire race was created by them.”

So is he a fake, purveyor of disinformation, a crank or could it be that he is telling the truth?

A few days ago it was reported that an entire village had been ‘abducted’ by glowing UFO’s in the Quinling mountains of China. Unfortunately this report was fake.

The “UFO’s” that were so eagerly reported have been proven to be bright spotlights on clouds from the nearby Xianyang City Square. Spotlights are common in cities in China, where they are often used as advertising for new shops, shop sales and the like.

The rumours began with a post on QQ (a popular Chinese messaging service like MSN) on 11 October which stated that unexplained lights were being seen on the mountain. From there the rumours grew and eventually included the ‘vanishing village’ on 13 October. These were duly reported by the Baidu Post.

Following the news item, reporters flocked to the area only to discover the truth: the whole thing was social networking rumours gone wild. The UFO’s were explained, no village had vanished and no army personnel were in the area. This was later confirmed by the China UFO Research Association.

This incident clearly demonstrates the power of social networking and how easy it is to create false rumours and reports which then go viral.

An interesting article popped up today on Associated Content which I thought I would share with you.

Lots of people see supposed ghost / UFO / monster photos and wonder how they can tell whether it is real or just another fake. The problem is that photos are very easily faked these days. Just a bit of knowledge of Photoshop or another photo editing suite will enable you to create your own fakes.

In the old days of film photos, it was a lot more difficult to fake a photo due to the technical aspects of doing so. These days with digital….

We used to say that “to see is to believe.” These days, when almost anything can be made look photorealistic, that quaint expression lacks the sincerity it might have once had. Con you really trust the images you see on
magazine covers, on television, and on the Web?

Photo manipulation, commonly referred to as “photoshopping,” is nothing new. For as long as there have been people taking photos, there have been those who get creative with the final product. Now that anyone with a PC can be a digital magician, how can you tell what is real and what is trickery?

When done at a professional level, doctored pictures can be nearly impossible to tell. However, most fakes leave tell-tale signs that you can easily identify once you know what you’re looking for.

Here are some tips for amateurs…
